Skyward Sword on old modded Wii.

Hey guys,

I am super excited for my copy of Skyward Sword Limited Edition arriving on Friday, but I have a few concerns. I haven't touched my Wii in a fair while now. It has a Wiikey 2 that I installed myself, and also the Homebrew Channel that I installed with the Twilight exploit many many years ago. I believe I have waninkoko's CIOS 249 installed, but I have no idea what revision. Now I know Zelda will probably require an update. How do I go about updating my Wii without bricking it so I can play Skyward Sword? Is there just a CIOS I need to install to allow me to play, or do I have to update my whole system?
