Question about playing PAL on NTSC TV

    Hello,

I'm about to import Xenoblade and am curious to know if it will work on my TV. I've searched and read the guides, but I'm not a technical person so a direct answer would be much appreciated since I'm finding this hard to understand.

My TV is a Vizio vw26l hdtv20f and I don't believe it supports PAL. My question is; is there a surefire way to make Xenoblade run as normal on my TV(not in black and white)? Thank you.

It's best to stick with games of your region, but the game Xenoblade PAL version is said to work with NTSC consoles via Neogamma. Both retail and backup copies will work fine with your NTSC TV.

Thank you very much for your reply. I don't think I'll be making backup copies (well, I read that I can't because I have a black Wii), but I read that it wont work on my TV unless I force it to. Does that happen with Neogamma?

As you said, you will be importing the game. Neogamma will load retail discs from out of region, all you need to do is to force the game to play via Neogamma settings. You can also install the game to a usb hdd and play it from a usb loader, you will also need to force out of region game to play correctly. This game is said to work from retail disc or backup. Never accept an update from an out of region game, the results could be devastating.
