Dude has a frigging point. There are a ton of NES rom hacks out there, surely someone using an editor could just re-create the stages and sprites visually and make a patch to apply to a rom so it'd atleast have the look and feel of MM9, but obviously without the "downloadable content" and more extensive additions that an NES wouldn't be able to handle. The trick would be convincing some more technically capable rom hackers out there to take on the project. If you're really serious about it, you oughta try finding out the emails of the folks who made those various Mega Man hacks and tell them about the idea...

The Mega Man 9 tile set

I would love to be a part of this effort but it is an overwhelming task... I only know the basics of Hexadecimal coding and Use Tile Layer pro for all the graphic. Unfortunately It seems as though the MM9 tile set you have seems to be incomplete although i could be wrong.

all Mega Man games on the NES

Damn that would be awesome. Megaman 9 on the NES along with the other 6 games. Actually it'd be pretty sweet to port Rockman 7 and 8 fc onto NES carts too! But I dont have any experience programing.
