    Brick prevention

    i have a black wii running 4.3u with homebrew installed. I was wondering what would be the best setup to prevent bricking

    If you want to prevent bricking do nothing, and never update your system menu. That will give you the best chance of not bricking.

    If you want to softmod, the anywii guide in my signature is the way to go. With any unsanctioned activity, you run the risk of messing up your Wii. This risk, with careful reading & following of the guide is largely mitigated however.

    I am softmod'd Just the wii I bought was already soft moded and updated so im not sure exactly what it has and doesnt have in terms of security from brickn etc
