USB Error/SD Corrupt? - Fixing anothers mod!
Hi all,
Just looking for some help here.
I Soft-Modded my 4.3e Wii (using Smash-Stack), It has all worked fine, no issues thus far.
Anyway, I've moved into my Girlfriends house, and her already modded 4.3e Wii had a couple of games I wanted, so I backed the ISO's onto my PC, loaded on a couple of games (Which have all worked fine on my Wii), and plugged all back in. This was a few weeks ago. The Wii hasn't been used since.
So we went to play the Wii a few days ago, and loaded up USB Loader GX and it's giving me the error message "Exception (dsi) Occured!" - I've done a bit of research but can't find a solution.
I've tried removing the games I installed onto the HDD and it hasn't helped. So I tried to access the SD Card through the Wii, and got another error message, something about the files being corrupt - Which i've researched and seems like it's an error message for anti-piracy or anti-modding or whatever.
Apologies, I don't have the Exact error message written down. I tried backing up the files from the SD Card, formatting it, and placing it back in, but this was to no Avail as it's still not working.
I Have a back up of all my 4.3e Wii files from the mod (if this helps at all), but none from their Wii, because the mod was carried out by someone else.
I'm gonna go ahead and say the Wii isn't bricked, because I can do pretty much anything aside from access the SD card (through the Wii) and HDD contents (through USBLGX).
So, any help you can suggest would be much appreciated, I'm not sure if it's possible to re-mod or un-mod the console per se, although I'd rather avoid this due to not having the Smash Bros. Disc anymore!
Thanks in advance.
