    Us Missing Disk Drive Piece

I took apart my disk drive and this fell out.
Can you upload a picture of where it belongs or tell me where it goes?

This isn't exactly the place to ask this question.

Oddly, I do not recognize that. Maybe it goes to a newer model than I'm familiar with.

Also, try to refrain from disassembling the mechanical components on the odd. It's best to access what you need to get to from the bottom by removing the pcb and motor. Nearly everything in the drive could be lhbricated, cleaned and maintained like this. Remove the top and it's easy to throw the gears out of sync and seize the mechanisms. Sorry if I'm ranting.

The really fail part on the OP is the original picture was lifted from a thread identifying it and instructed the user how to get it back into place (the very last post he lifted the image from, in fact).
