    Question WiiFlow problems

I have been looking for little pieces of info to help me, but bit the bullet to ask here because some of the info is still pretty unclear to me. I followed mauifrog's to mod my Wii. I have a 4.1U Wii running HBC. I have a 500 GB ext HDD partitioned as primary and active as FAT32. (Previously, I had it as NTFS and it could load & play any disc-based games dumped to the HDD via WiiFlow or USB Loader GX or the DVD slot). Now I am attempting to run these games in WiiFlow but I get a "Disc_SetUSB failed" error. I have installed the d2x cios and have updated WiiFlow to v3.0 Alpha (r416). Question: is all that is needed to update WiiFlow is to rename "r416.dol" to "boot.dol" and drop it into the SD:\apps\wiiflow folder? I notice that the info in the WiiFlow HBC load--delete--back screen lists a previous version of WiiFlow also.

I would like to run VC & WiiWare games from the ext HDD via WiiFlow. I have already done a NAND dump and extracted titles to the e-NAND via Showmiiwads. If I want to play them from the USB drive do they go into a NAND folder on the root of the ext HDD? Ideally, I would like to run the Homebrew apps (WiiFlow, etc.) from the SD card and just have games on the HDD.

Below is my syscheck. Thanks in advance!

    sysCheck v2.1.0b13 by Double_A and R2-D2199
    ...runs on IOS58 (rev 6176).

Somewhat. I would just delete all WiiFlow files and drop in the new ones.
For the second question. Homebrew apps go on SD, wii isos go on HDD, and WiiWare goes on Wii.
