Updated from usb loader 1.0 to 2.2 most of my backups not working

I recently updated my usb loaded to 2.2 r1100 ISO222 (Rev 4). Now Most of my backups no longer work. I tried to go back to 1.0, and it will not work either. I searched hi and low for an answer tried everything that I saw on this site will little sucess. I only did the update for Driver San Francisco, but if i were to know that this would happen I don't think I would have done it. When I load most games I get a black screen and I have to reset the wii. I tired everything I can think of with little to no luck. I have been using this site ever since i have had my wii, and always had great sucess, but this is one that i can not figure out. he is my system info, I just may have a wrong file, but I am pulling my hair out tring to figure it out.

That is a known issue with upgrading GX 2.2. You have to delete the old config files so that 2.2 can build new ones. Try deleting them from the SD:/config folder and try using 2.2 again.

I started with a brand new formatted card to start with. Not sure why the problem exists I did the same thing to my brothers wii that i did to mine and everything is fine on his. I am going to see him tomorrow and do a system check on his and see what the difference is. I really think that it is an ISO

I tried all three versions with the same end result. Formatted SD card started fresh with v222 , didn't work. The old loader this is the ISO I used. Tried with 249 and 250 same. Just came from my brothers are system checks are near identical. only difference I see is Homebrew Channel 1.0.8 running on IOS58 and mine is IOS55. Tried his working sd card in my machine same result.

Reinstall your HBC. It should then run on IOS58.

Still does not work got the homebrew reinstalled it is no IOS58 that was the only real difference in our system checks. Other then the revs of the stubs but i don't see what that would matter. I am stumped further more I don't understand why I can't just go back to the old loader and everything be fine like it was before this.

Just wanted to give a quick update since i know that alot of people are having this problem with the new loader. I went through everything until I was sure that it was right will still no luck. I then finally had enough and started eliminating things. turns out that my hard drive was having conflicts with the new loader. I never had any trouble with the old loader, but with the new one it would freeze and not work proper. I reformatted it and put about 20 games that I was sure were not working back on and all work without error. I am not sure if this will help anyone but it seemed to fix my problem. My hard drive is a western digital 1tb.
