Unhappy Emulators & Classic Controller Pro Problems

    Hi all,

Recently got my Wii set up with homebrew and using Snes9x GX and others for old school emulation. Problem is the functionality of my classic controller pro pads seems to be very intermittent, I can't find a guaranteed sequence of events to make it work, sometimes they work just fine and others I get no response at all from the emulators. They work fine in general for Wii software but not on the emulators.

I'm hoping I just need to do something in a certain order or something else silly like that, just getting to be a bit of a pain messing around to get them working every time I want to play. By the way they are both official nintendo pads, not 3rd party.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

    Russ

Make sure you have the lastest version of Snes9x.

I think people had problems mostly with third party pro controllers. Also before new revisions of the emulators. The latest versions should support your controller, especially since they are official nintendo controllers. Take a look at this post, but that was in January. I think most emulators have added support for pro controllers.

Your system check looks alright. Idk. Maybe try the old blow in the connections and try again.
