cfg usb loader/ Install game/ Opening DVD disc.... Error! (ret = -2)

I got a handful of games to work without getting the error. I got a couple more to work after I updated cfg loader. But I still got a few games I want backed up giving me the error. Any ideas?

I indeed meant updating CFG loader. Try using IOS 248 for the ones that don't work. If that doesn't work, try IOS 247 or IOS 250.

You can choose which IOS you want to use to load the game, before you start it. I don't use CFG, so you'll have to look around.

I'm trying to install backups from original discs, not boot games already installed. Update: One of the games now boot, but gives around 10 error messages when being backed up. The errors look like WARNING: error (9xxxxxxxx) -2 (xxx). x=0-9 If that makes the problem all the more confusing then dismiss that for the moment I guess.

Is the disc damaged at all?

The one with that last error isn't in perfect condition, but a couple others with the original problem are.
