    Sd card files

I've installed Homebrew on my 4.3 Wii, but I can't play backed up wii games. I think I don't have the right files on my SD card. Can someone write out what exactly is supposed to be on my SD card, so I can insert backed up games and play them?

Wow there buddy, just a tad bit lacking in meaningful information there. Care to elaborate? I could ask you a million questions, but I feel unusually lazy tonight in reflection of your post without a doubt...

Indeed, a guide from this site is gonna walk you through every step of the way, and this would be a non issue.

    Blue lights

I'm thinking my SD card files are wrong, because I hav the Homebrew channel, but when insert a backed up game, the wii locks and just blinks blue at me. But, I was able to load a Homebrew centipede game. Do you think I'm on the right path?

I'd blink blue at you too, based on non-information presented thus far. I suspect many talk to you until they are blue in the faces --- that won't be me ~finito.

Did you make an intro post in our introduction section?
I you did or if you will, you will recieve valuable links to certain guides. One of which is about softmodding, and the one you need to follow, as Homebrew is Homebrew and not enough in it of itself to play backups.

You have a 4.3 system menu which may have been an earlier version that you have upgraded. The later 4.2 & 4.3 won't play burnt games as they have a different DVD play installed. Type in your serial number into Wii Drive Chip Database to find which drive you have.

The easiest method for playing games is with a USB Loader which there are 4 or 5 types. I use USB Loader GX, Configurable USB Loader and WiiFlow. Now the files and folders needed on the SD card are Config - USB Loader GX, usb-loader - Configurable USB Loader and wiiflow - WiiFlow all with there own sub folders containing images, covers, themes and loads of other files needed to run these apps. These should all be available in each USB Loader download.

Plus to use these USB Loaders you have to install various cIOS files normally cIOS249 which are available on here.
