Alright, well at this point I'm just trying to install the WAD Brian linked to.

I am just completely over my head. I almost regret ever modding my Wii in the first place. I can't even update my WADs without getting completely lost. Ugh. Is there just a catch all FAQ or something that will help me understand things in general?

I still can't get it to install. When I use the Wad Manager in MMM, It just says "1 did not complete" or something like that.

Ok here is a fresh set of eyes. You are just trying to get your original disk of DK Country Returns to play, correct?

Is priiloader installed, and if so is it set to block updates?

I'm pretty sure I remember doing it as part of the "Softmod any Wii" guide, which was over a year ago. That said, I'm not sure how to confirm if it still is...

OK. Turn your wii off. Then turn it on and immediately hold in the reset button. Do not let go until you see the Priiloader screen appear.

Okay, cool. Priiloader is installed. How do I check that it's set to prevent updates?

    EDIT: Nevermind, it's set.

Use your directional pad on your wiimote to scroll down to "System Menu Hacks". Press "A" to select. Now you should see all the hacks. Find the ones that say "Block Disc Updates" and "Block Online Updates". Press "A" to enable both, then scroll down to "save settings" and press "A". After the settings are saved press "B" and go back up to "System Menu". Try launching your game again.
