Try the softmod any wii guide, from the beginning. It will help you reinstall homebrew, and update all your cios and ios. Not sure if you have any brick protection, but the guide will help you out there too. Good luck. :cool:

You used the guide I linked to softmod originally? Y did u uninstall Homebrew channel? If you follow the guide again you will not brick.Quote:

There is an option in the guide to downgrade to 4.1, which is the ideal system menu to be on. So you should be able to use bannerbomb on 4.1. Did u get an error or what happened when u tried to reinstall with hackmii?
it says successful, but when i try to load it it loads to a black screen still.
Did you try the "prepare a card" option when running the hackmii installer?
yeah, still no good. HBC loads to a blank screen. Netflix channel still works, but HBC won't load.
Try backing up your SD, do a full format, then run Hackmii again. BTW which version of the hackmii installer are you trying to run?
