Wii 4.1e freezes when trying to install bannerbomb

    Hi guys!

Haven't been here for a long time. I softmoded my Wii about a year ago and haven't really touched it since then. But now my sister got a new game and she needed to update the wii. She did that and got an error, then she formated it... And now everything is messed up.

The Priiloader is still there when I start the console but the HBC is gone and so is everything else.

So I though I would just softmod it again. But when I'm trying to access the sd card (formated) with bannerbomb the wii just freezes.

Any tips on what I can do here?

    Thanks alot!

If she updated, then u need to softmod again with the according exploit. If you are on 4.2 now use bannerbomb v2, or if you are on 4.3 use letterbomb or one of the disc exploits. If you are using the correct bannerbomb, try formatting your sd card again to fat32, with the quick format box unchecked. Also, mauifrog says in his guide If you have any issue, try to format with this format tool.

Thanks for the fast answer! Well she tried to update but got an error (32004) so I'm still on 4.1e.

Tried all different formatting options you posted, still have the same freeze problem. Maybe there is something wrong with the sd card, but thats also strange because I've always used it with the Wii.

(Also tried bannerbomb v1 now, same problem)

I fixed the problem! Tried with v1 and accessed the sd card from settings > data management > sd card.
