Your setup looks good. Not sure if this has been asked but have you tried re ripping the game to the HDD?

Edit - I see nighty has asked that but it wasn't clear in your answer if you had tried deleting the games from your hdd and then transferring them back over?

Yes sir! I have ! I downloaded Mario Kart from a website, since my original has a crack on it, as I stated on my first post, but I don't think that could be the problem because the mario kart loads up fine where it shows you the wii remote and then after that, it goes into black screen

EDIT: I have not tried that, should I try it? I used wii backup manager to extract it...

Also, I have heard on other threads that ios38 is used by mario kart wii, is that correct? Do I need to update or download IOS38?

Could be a bad rip, aye. Be aware, wiihacks doesn't condone piracy. While I fully realize you're saying you own the game, but the disc is physically cracked (broken?), tip toe on this subject please and follow advice given.

If it's a backup, it strictly relies on the cIOS --- not IOS --- for softmodded Wiis.

That's proof you didn't completely follow his guide; witness output from his SysCheck on this:

I am aware that this site does not support piracy, and I do have mario kart wii, it's cracked in half since my brother sat on it while it was on the bed -_-, and I have followed the advice and played the game through CIOS 247,248,249,250, and it won't budge, and a bad rip? hmm... I thought this website was trusted with good copies...I have red other peoples posts that say they have the same problem with the black screen and hasn't been solved.

I thought I had followed it step by step... what would be the solution the fix the CIOS249? (REV 21006)?

EDIT: I updated CIOS249 to rev21 because I thought that would be the problem, but it did not work, do I go back to the original maui frog 249?

If you didn't rip from the retail disk yourself, there is no way to know the validity of the ISO in question. Hence why the constant unanswered threads about mariokart. It should work fine if infact ripped as recommended, but we are not in the business of verifying downloads.

I knew from the beginning it was not the ISO, but the wii, that is why I was asking whether I needed to update CIOS or IOS but I guess all in my Wii is fine, so I have no idea what the problem could be...

Your belief in the issue doesn't make it true.

yes it is narse, I'm closing it because of OP failure to use the Edit Post function, I have other things to do than to go behind someone and merge there double posts.
