Can I install these custom game channels if...?

Hello. I'm quite new to this so sorry if I ask something obvious. I have installed Homebrew on my Wii and I'm going to install the USB Loader to be able to run games o my Wii. I've heard that it's possible to make a channel for each game for easier access. I have used WiiGSC to create the .wad files for the channels. I have the Wii System Menu (Latest version as far as I know) installed on Dolphin (The Emulator) and I tried each of these .wad files and they appeared fine on the menu.My main question is will these work the same on my Wii and NOT cause a Banner Brick etc...?012Also, my Wii has a different IP address to the IP address I'm using. (I'm on holiday...)Should I create the .wads after I am using the Wii's IP or does it make no difference...? (I ask as WiiGSC has a box in which there needs to be an IP address...)Any help very much appreciated...^_^

I wouldn't think it would brick your wii if it works on dolphin as long as it's the same system menu.
I say if it asks for the IP then give it the wii's IP. Why would it ask if it isn't needed.

Well if you have Boot2 installed or Priiloader then you should be fine. If not, then get one or both.

By Boot2, do you mean BootMii? If yes, then which is better, BootMii or Priiloader as the latter seems more risky!(?)

Neither are risky.

Boot io provides the needed protection, and makes you brickproof (excluding boot1 or hardware problems).

Priiloader is not risky. It allows you to access the Homebrew Channel to fix bricks or make it more brickproof overall. It's not risky, just use the installer.

So basically they both fulfill the same purpose, so I don't need to install Priiloader and can just get away with BootMii...
As I can access the Homebrew channel through BootMii before the System menu etc loads...

And yes, thanks for ensuring that it isn't risky.;) I'm just being overcautious as I'm new to this...:L

No.

BootMii provides full protection.

Priiloader allows access to the Homebrew Channel, any channel you have installed, and a few other things. It can also block system menu updates.

It's better to have both, trust me.

Priiloader is used for people who can't install boot2 on their wii.
But you can install both if you want.

Huh? You still need Priiloader even if you have boot2!

Bottom line they're for safety. Get them both (and I'm assuming you didn't follow the Softmod ANY Wii guide, you might want to do that).
