A SIM card? Heh, no. You use an SD card . And you can screw up your wii by messing with homebrew, yes. But if you listen to these smart people in here who knows what they are doing, i think you'll be fine. As far as the warranty im not sure, actually. Anyone else?

Yeah, things always have a chance of screwing up your Wii, but it seems the chances are pretty low as long as you follow instructions.

And I think having homebrew voids the warranty--some googling said so too.

    Hope that helps.

Ok I will clear some stuff up. homebrew does not void your warrenty, since there is no way for them to find out if it is installed. Opening up your Wii to install a modchip will void it though. ok?

I think technically it does void it, but realistically it doesn't since there's no way for them to find out like Wiiwouldliketohack mentioned.

I see no reason why homebrew would void the Wii. Even if it does, who cares. It is fun anway.

You will only screw things up if you do something that you don't know what you are doing. Thats when problems could arise. If you read the tutorials carefully then I don't think you will have a problem. If in doubt, Re-read them again then post any questions you might have.

As for the transfer process, Its via an sd card, Use 2gb or less.
