homebrew channel installed, but bootmii doesnt launch

i have a 4.3u wii. i installed homebrew channel usign the hackmii installer v0.8 following the Softmod Guide here: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

it seems to have installed correctly, but when i try and click on "launch bootmii" on the HBC menu, i just get a blank screen, and the wii drive just endlessly flashes blue.

i've tried reinstalling the HBC and bootmii using the hackmii installer. i also made sure the SD card was prepared as well.

i dont know what else to do. any suggestions on how to get bootmii to launch?

You mean you used the option in bootmii to prepare sd card, correct? Evidently those files are not on the sd card or the console cannot access them for some reason.

no. i used the hackmii installer 0.8 to prepare the SD card. the files are on the SD card when i check. there's a /bootmii/ folder with all of the files in there, but when i hit 'launch bootmii' option in HBC i just get a blank screen and a flashing blue disc drive no matter what..

    can anyone help me? ...

    this is so confusing

    can someone help?

nvmd the last msg..i just rebooted my wii it seems to be ok now..can someone explain why bootmii isnt launching though?

I don't think it is going to launch if you have not installed it yet. Run hackmii installer and be sure to install bootmii.
