    what size sd card?

My Wii has the not so friendly v3.3 firmware and I need the down grade to 3.2 to allow my edited backup games too work.

What size sd card should I purchase and what is the largest size the wii will suport?

2gb for now is the maximum, It doesn't support SDHC yet but I think I read somewhere they are close to getting that work and to support over 2gb

I bought a 2gb for mine, They are cheap as chips now.

Just go for a well known brand of sd card and you'll be right, They all should work, But the no name brand ones might have data retention issues, So if you go for the good ones I'm sure everything will be sweet. I have a Sandisk one and have had no issues so far

Sandisk, they make the officals =P

and nothing over 2 gigs, if it works or not, the wii wont let u use more than 2 gigs anyways, and since you cant really load from it, for big things, not needed

its a problem now? come on seriously....
its a set hardware limit to prevent piracy, if you can get a 4 gig card working it will only read 2 gigs of it! -,_-, also a simple search *since finding this out isnt hard in ANY respect*

you misunderstood me sir, i was actually asking about the SDHC problem. for some reason, i just categorized it into the "2gb problem"

and for the record, i DID do some searching (c'mon, better than starting the 18th thread no? ). i will accept deductions for not reading clearly, but NOT for not searching.
