    The Device Inserted in the SD Card Slot cannot be used.

    Hello sir,
    i am getting this The Device Inserted in the SD Card Slot cannot be used. whenever i am inserting cards in the wii
    I tired 3 SD cards (ADATA,Sandisk,Kingston) with kingston adapter none of them is working tred to format card with fat and fat32 still not workign for me
    i got a new wii i want to modify with out chip it but can't bcoz of sd card
    i have nothing in wii and haven't tried SD card in my wii sd card slot before 1st time i used it and getting error
    plzz help meee

    Have you made sure the lock is off on the side of the ad card when inserting it into the wii?

    Look on the side of the SD card there should be a little slide lock

    Maybe try a sandisk sd card. Full not micro or sdhc

    Micro SD should work I have one on my Wii a sandisk and the adaptor had the lock on it

    hey budd i just chck why all of the card isn't working on my wii then i think tht i am usig only 1 adapter...may be adapter problem so i put my sd card in adapter and then in Card reader and connected it to my pc but my pc isn't showing my Micro sd card......then it's mean my adapter is not working???am i right????

    Yes Man the wii can be fussy, read this site i'm sure most of the tutorials specify, SD Not Micro Not SD/HC . If you are new and a little tentative, Give yourself the best start by reading. It is such a pity when I read so many people Who eventually find this site weeping because of failure to read, Take your time read read read, Much better than a bricked wii And a BIG HEADACHE!

    You will get help but it's frustrating.
