Priiloader WiiMC
Hi
I'm trying to set my Wii up as a pure media player for a car journey, where my kids will be able to operate WiiMC without the need for a sensor bar.
I have managed, through Priiloader, to boot straight to WiiMC, but WiiMC displays the error "ios not supported" (or similar, I'll check when I get home if more accurate info is needed).
Does anybody know how to sort this?
Thanks

Well, I believe WiiMC uses IOS58, whilst priiloader runs using the system menu IOS. I believe there is a setting that allows priiloader not to run using the system menu IOS, but whether you are allowed to specify your own, I do not know.

If I may offer an alternative, maybe grab a classic (pro) controller. One of the sticks acts as a mouse-ish pointer on the system menu/elsewhere.

I did try setting priiloader to run using ios58 (in the settings) but it made no difference. Re there any config files for priiloader?
-
It could be that priiloader does not have ABHPROT.

Any idea how to enable/instal abhprot for priiloader? I'm trying to seasrch for it but most hits seem irrelevent.
Thanks

Ah, it looks like i needed to instal it with abhprot in the first place.

Indeed. Futhermore, I do not even know whether it is possible for priiloader to have abhprot. Channels can have it, but priiloader isn't really a channel. More a part of the system menu.

Which still leaves me with the problem of booting straight to WiiMC without needin a sensor bar.
I could just strap sensor bars to the back of the headrests i guess.
Thanks all.
