Usb loader - partition not found - new hard drive

i bought a new hitachi 1tb lifestudio hard drive

it comes with a software that pops up everytime you plug it in, which is interfering with usb loader from detecting my WBFS partition, ive tried disabling the UDF/VCD partition of the drive but it wont help, ive searched numerous hours on how to remove it from the hard drive but have yet to find a solution

    any ideas? thanks

Is it on the compatible drives list? There are drives that just plain wont work with the wii.

If it is compatible and it still has the error then make sure your not using an extension cords or a cord that was not included in the drive you got. I had a drive that was said to work, but I couldn't get it to. I just unplugged the extension cord and now it works perfectly!

Trying a low level format on that same drive right now. It will take approximately 20 hours for this to complete but will let you know what I find out. Every other avenue I've tried has not worked including daemon tools and easeus partition manager. In theory this should work as long as the drive itself is compatible with the wii.
