Angry USB Loader GX suddendly stopped loading games.

Hey all, been working on this for a couple weeks trying to figure out what happened. I've finally given up and decided to enlist the help of the community.

Everything was working fine, then all of sudden, I turned it on, went to play A Boy And His Blob with my daughter, the game would load, then it would hang on the loading screen(the one after the screen asking you to connect the nunchak or classic controller). So I started testing other games. Monster Hunter Tri, New Super Mario Bros., all of the LEGO games, and Super Smash Bros. will no longer load. Some make it further than others, but they all lock up at some point. What's strange is they all worked before, and nothing was changed before they quit working. Most other games work just fine. Metroid: Other M, for example, plays flawlessly. But I want all my games to work.

I've tried updating my ios and cios. Was on 249v19 when all this started. Went back to v17, then up to 21revd2xv6. No good. Was on 222v5, went back to v4, then up to v5.1 No good. Tried different HDD's, as well as formatting them different ways.

I've deleted USB Loader GX and reinstalled. Tried, Configurable and Wiiflow, neither worked.

I've tried running SysCheck to get the list for you guys, but it locks up at a certain point every time. So I used Pimp_my_wii to get the list.

    IOS list

Anybody have any ideas? My next step will be to start over, following mauifrog's guide.

    Thanks in advance.

For future reference....PMW is never a recommended method to fix anything. You will want to follow Maui's guide to fix that mess. If the games do not work on any of the loaders or other hdd the games may be corrupt. Try re-ripping them after you have fixed your pmw mess.

Thanks for your fast reply. Yeah, I've been reading that Pimp_my_wii wasn't exactly the best way to fix anything. I wish I would have found mauifrog's guide before that. I'll start over with his guide and see what I get.

OK. I started over, following mauifrog's guide. And the end result is exactly the same. No matter what loader I use, the games won't work. Tried multiple harddrives again, as well. I was, however, able to get SysCheck to run this time, so here's the results from that.

    SysCheck

One thing that immediately caught my eye is: System Menu 0.0 (v54449).

    Any ideas?

Yes that is correct if you installed the 4.1 sm from mauifrogs guide. It is a patched sm to stop Nintendo updating you from 4.1........
The syscheck is fine so id be inclined to say its something to do with the way you are setting your hdd up. What guide did you follow for that?

HDD: Seagate FreeAgent Go 320GB ST903203FGA2E1-RK

Ok. Just did a backup of my drive, and formatted it fresh. Set it up just as this guide said. Used Wii Backup Manager to transfer 2 problematic games over to it.

Launched it with both USB Loader GX and Configurable USB loader.

Same end result. I'm not sure what else to do.

Are you sure the fat32 partition is set to active and primary?

    Seagate FreeAgent Go 320GB ST903203FGA2E1-RK
Toshiba 250GB - MK2555GSX (not sure on compatibility)
Maxtor 80GB (not sure on compatibility)

Positive. I've set all three HDDs I have up all the same way, three different times.

First, I did strictly a WBFS partition. (How I originally had it setup.) Used WBFS Manager 3.0. Some games work, but others that normally worked, don't. (see original post)

Second, a FAT32 partition. Done, through EASUS. 1 single partition, set to Primary and marked as Active. Used Wii Backup Manager 0.3.5 beta 1. Same problems as with the WBFS format.

Third, (and only to see what it would do) an NTFS partition. Not much luck at all with this. (Which I knew was going to be the case anyway, just did it as a rule-out.)

Right now, I'm doing a zero-pass on the Seagate 320GB drive. After that, I will reformat to the guide's specs, and will post my (if any) success.

Syscheck says 249 rev21006.... I never heard of that. You sure that's ok?

All right. To no surprise, no matter how I format, it won't work. I think its got to be and ios issue.

    249 rev21006 is the newest d2xv6. It doesn't matter, I've tried every rev from 14 to 21.

I've also tried USB Loader for 222, and 250; as well as deleting and reinstalling the channels.

I'm at my wits-end. I don't have a nand backup from when I first modded it(Although I do have one now). I've been reading about this, but it sounds risky, and I only want to do it as a last-ditch effort.

    My current SysCheck:

    SysCheck - 06/19/11 @ 830pm CST

    Thanks for your help, guys!
