USB Loader GX Forwarder sends me back to System Menu
First off, a huge thanks for these amazing forums. Secondly, if this issue has been solved elsewhere 1) I appologize, and 2) I can't for the life of me find a solution in the posts I've read (and re-read) that solves my particular problem.
I have softmodded my virgin 4.2u wii about a month ago. Everything went perfectly and without problems. Both USB Loader GX and CFG USB Loader work great when launched from HBC. I have installed many forwarders but NONE of them work. Without exception they all pass me back to a reset System Menu.
I've tried every conceivable folder configuration on my SD card. I've tried installing to 249, 250, and 222. I've tried every solution offered to anyone having this same issue (and there seem to be quite a few of us).
One thing I did not try is 'updating IOS33 and IOS35' which one user said helped. I'd try this if someone could give me an idea of how to do it safely.
Any help with this issue would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
First post here? Follow the guide for usb loader gx in my Sig. You must not have a required element.
Thanks for the reply. I'm going to run through the guide tonight, but before I do, do I need to update to 4.3? (4.3 having been mentioned in the guide.)
Okay, I followed the USB Loader GX guide in your sig.
Everything installed okay. I put the forwarder in IOS249 via WadManager 1.7 (in case that matters). I can launch GX from HBC.
My forwarder (USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_2_0_AHBPROT) still sends me to reset System Menu. I downloaded the forwarder in the guide (USBLoader(s)-ahbprot58-SD-USB-v8-IDCL) and it does the same.
I am not sure what I am missing.
Thanks for your help with this.
