Will this SD card work?

Hello there mates. I just bought myself a Wii a few weeks ago and ofc I want to softmod it. I know what guide to follow but I just have 1 small question before I get into this since I have to be EXTERMLY careful. Its my understanding that you are suppose to use a 1GB or 2GB SD card to softmod the Wii.

I figured that I could buy myself a MicroSD and then pop it into a SD adapter so I can use the card for other things too such as mobile and stuff, but before I go ahead and try this I just wanted to ask the forum if its possible or if it can brick my brand new wii =)

PS. I was going to use a SanDisk adapter if that matters.

You should be ok. We say use a sandisk full sd card because we know 100% these work.

I use a micro sd card adapter, it works fine, nand backup and all, I believe it's a Kingston card too :)

I think it will work. I use a SanDisk 4GB micro SDHC as one of my main cards. I've used it for pretty much everything including making NAND backups BootMii and simple FS Dumper, Bannerbomb, and so forth. It even works with apps/emulators that aren't supposed to support SDHC. It's a great card so I'm guessing the 2GB should be just as good.

Ahh ok =) Ill go with the MicroSd then.

i have 2 of them and a 4gbsdhc with adapters use 2gb to softmod your wii works fine
