    Unusual Wii issue (black screen)

I have a 4.2u softmodded wii with usb loader gx. I hacked it last week everything went smoothly, up until today. I go into homebrew and when I select the loader gx it loads fine. I see the list of games that ALL worked up until today and when I choose one the screen goes black, the remote disconnects and the wii is basically frozen, there is no data going through the HDD into the wii (red data light isnt flashing). this stays stuck for about 30 seconds until it kicks me back to the Homebrew screen. I cant figure out for the life of me whats going on, there are no error codes nothing. It even wont let me play some games that I own (Wii sports, and monster hunter) but other games work fine(SM galaxy, WII sports resort). I searched a lot but didnt find a thread that fit my problem. If anyone has any help it would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!

I hope from above you meant that they are all games you own and have become scratched and dont work anymore. having said that can you post a system check so we may see if everything is alright on that front.

oh I own all the games but some just don't want to work(CD or through the usb loader) Now I didnt actually hack it myself, my friend did but I watched him do it and I'm an IT major so I have a good understanding of what he did. So, is the system check built into the Wii's OS or do I have to load a program into the SD card?

Which guide did you use to mod? If its a non wiihacks guide dont post the link.

Run a syscheck as mentioned above. I having a guess that it is something to do with you cios missing.

it would be put on the USB card and run from there. it will tell us what IOS's you have installed. some games you want to run are problematic when using backups or usb loaders.

I dont know the guide he used but I know he installed the Trucha bugg using banner bomb 2, then he set up a bootmii and installed homebrew, put the cIOS and put the gx loader on the SD card. Thanks for the help, I'll do the system check tomorrow but for now I gotta sleep (it's 3:50 where I am)
