USB Loader GX Exception (dsi) error

I know this error has been over asked, and I have searched the forum and tried various suggestions; take sd card out, removed all disc images on sd card, etc.

I had my wii 4.2u (if i remember correctly) softmoded around a year ago. It was working perfectly and I was able to rip and load games on the hard drive. No real issues. We stopped playing the wii around December bc we were moving. We moved and hooked it up and no changes were made since it worked last time.

The homebrew channel loads with no issues. When I start the Usb loader gx, it gives me the small box saying loading or w/e. It then disappears and about 4 or 5 seconds later, the Exception (dsi) error occurs. Like I said above, I searched and removed disc images, left the sd card out, even switched the position of the hd usb cable (i forgot what slot it went into).

Sorry for the long winded message, but any help would be appreciated.

I wouldnt mind trying a new usb loader, but I dont know which one is best.

    Thanks,
    Adam

Usbloader gx has had some major updates to it in the last few monts. Delete all of your gx files and get the new version. http://www.wiihacks.com/software-bac...loader-gx.html

That will stir up some debate.......best is an opinion. Wiiflow, configurable usb loader (cfg), and GX are all good loaders. Personally I prefer GX, but have found that cfg seems to be the most reliable loader.

    Hello again,

I downloaded USB loader 2.0 and put it on my sd card. I am able to see it in my homebrew channel and it starts and loads games off my ext hd without any issues. I'll appologize in advance, I simply forgot how I installed channels before.

    I would like to:
    1. Uninstall the old usbloader channel on my wii
    2. Install the new Usb Loader 2.0 channel on my wii.

I have waninko wad installer 1.4. Also, I seen that usb loader 2.1 was out... should i install 2.0 or 2.1?

I load wad installer 1.4, select 222 and it freezes. Same for 250 and another one. Any ideas?
