do i have to format my external hard drive?

i have a 500GB external hard drive and it has hundreds of stuff on it. i dont want to format it to wbfs because it will erase everything. the hard drive is formatted to fat32, can i play my wii iso backups with a usbloader? because ive tried 3-4 now and they ask me to format.

use wiibackup manager to transfer the games to your fat32 drive and they will work. There are links to a couple programs that will transfer the games for you in the fat32 guide. http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...g-playing.html

no you do not have to format it to Fat32 just be sure you have an up to date softmod, and a newer usb loader.

I'm pretty sure CFG or one of the other loaders can boot from FAT32, personally I do dual partitions because I think WBFS saves space - I THINK - that was the reason but it's been awhile since I had set it up.

If there on Fat32 all games are 4.36 gigs, if there on WBFS they can be there actual size.

Wiibackup manager and wiigame manager will do the same thing on a fat32 or ntfs drive.
