I have 108 games on my 500GB USB Hard Drive, and I want to format it so I can play videos/music using wiimc. I read that to format the hard drive partition to fat32, you have to format the whole hard drive, instead of just the required partition. So I am asking if there is any way to keep my WBFS partition, and a fat32 partition without losing my games. I don't have anywhere to backup the files to.
I smell salt water on your boots. You have to have somewhere to backup your games, i do believe.
I have 200GB of games, and the hard drive is formatted in WBFS. I don't have the money to buy another hard drive. I have a 1.5TB hard drive, but it's formatted to NTFS. Is there any way I can backup my games to that hard drive
If you try to resize your WBFS partition you are going to learn about extreme fail so don't try! You've got two options. Start over and re-rip all of your games after you've reformatted your drive to FAT32, or extract all of your current games and store them on your 1.5TB and put them back on your drive after you format it. It doesn't really make a difference format wise for temporary storage; My computer drives are EXT4 for example.
You can use cfg usb loader, usb loader gx or wiiflow to rip the games from their original disc to the hddQuote:
