    USB HDD problem

Okay, I have a Freeagent GoFlex 1TB external (5400rpm). When playing my back ups, after ten minutes or so of playing it'll give me a black screen saying Reading Disc .... Sometimes, wiiflow or gx loader doesnt even recognize it being plugged in. Periodically on my computer it likes to disconnect itself also (if thats even relevant). It's also powered by usb. Do you guys think my game problem is from it being too slow of a drive, and it pulling power from the wii? And is pulling power from the wii necessarily bad for it?

as it behaves similiarily on both Wii and PC, check it's sleeping mode (or energy saving) setting.
    2.5" or 3.5" usb hdd ?

I believe the period disconnecting may be due to moving it though (it's cord is pretty loose) But, how would I check those settings?

Not too sure what you mean by that, so here's a link.

Sweet, i'll do it now. Is the non-wall powered deal an issue for possibly breaking my wii?

Power setting off, played for about 15m and everything went pretty smoothly. Epic mickey's cursor was a bit jumpy, but hey, whatcha gonna do. Seems to have worked, thanks a ton everybody!
