yeah, sorry, i didn't make that clear, i removed all files except the NAND backup, Keys, Apps folder and Wad folder.
Still lead me to a black screen.
I proceeded to remove *ALL* files to see if it was a wii problem, and it started up fine..

NAND and wad files should have been backed up on your comp before you finished the softmod if you followed one of our guides.. the only files on there should be for the apps.. not the apps wad files though or nand bin keys, ect...

I keep them on there for my own reference, they didn't seem to get in the way, and they were on there from the last time i added new WAD content.
and i had litterally *JUST* finished backing up my wii, so i hadn't had time to take the files off.
Also, quick update, It seems if i have *ANY* folders on the root of the SD card, it won't load correctly. (I tested this using an empty txt file, and also an empty folder. on seperate runs)

its happening most likely because the wii is trying to boot up and the start up procedure more then likey reads the sd slot and the wii isnt reconizing files/folders so it isnt booting properly. you can post a system check if you feel that it is something wrong with your softmod. the link is in my signature.

As i said, this time they were only on there because i had just completed a backup, otherwise they aren't typically on there. I just wanted to test them being on there as a possible source of help. (I know, it's rediculous, but weirder things have worked for me, trust me.)

You took an official nintendo update via internet or disc... You need to resoftmod following the guide in my signature and also USE PRILOADER this time around. make sure you enable the hacks to block disc/internet updates.
