    Piracy Issues Around the Forum

Please explain where we claimed to show people how to cheat and download games. Granted, the users of WiiHacks may cheat or download games, but when a problem occurs with them, expect no support here. You can scuttle over to WiiBrew, but even they don't support what you're looking for. I had to give this logic to not one, not two, but three users now. I'd also like to see you top that logic, troll. And reread the rules, if you will. Now, try to talk about this again, and I can almost personally guarantee a forum mod or admin will discipline you.
My three PM's to three different user pirates, whose names will not be revealed.

I quite frankly, have been monitoring the forums since before I joined. Now, after I join, WiiHacks slowly crumbles, becoming victims to annoying, mindless n00bs that can't bother to read the rules.

I have run across three cases of this within a short time period, all giving the same response- That we show them how to do what we do not condone.

I replied to all three in the same manner, rendering their points obsolete- I can be a good negotiator to these people.

I am almost certain such things will happen in the future.

I would suggest for the moderators and admins to do something, but what can we do?
We can try to stop it by closing such threads on sight, no discussion needed. That might be an option. Regardless, I would continue to play my part and send a message via PM to notify them of how those rules work, rendering their point obsolete before it is even said.

This can be a rather effective method, not only showing pre-members that the WiiHacks staff can be serious about their rules, but keep other members and the OP from discussing such a thing in such a manner again.

I would like to hold a discussion about this here, and possibly get some ideas to how this might work- anyone is welcome.

Also, I found this suitable place, please move to a more proper place if such a place exists.

    Granted.

Also, which thread did you mean in your VM? I can't PM you at the moment to discuss it as my mobile app is acting up, and VMs on your profile are closed.

Bottom line is cheating and piracy will NOT be supported in any form even if it be through a third party member advising via PM. If we suspect this is happening we will take the appropriate actions to defend the policies and rules of this community.

Which is another way to do it. Where I come from, we have a few trolls. Their threads were closed on contact, which seemed to rid of them.

I will still continue to discipline such members while the staff does their side of the job, unless I'm requested not to. This is a serious subject to me, and it needs to be discussed.

EDIT: One won't give it up, the third one PM'ed.

i dont care. its just a damn cheat? people use cheats all the time. but i dont care im just makin a point.
    My reply:

[quote]I did not claim we said you couldn't use them. I simply said you will not get any help with it here, or in most places.
I am too making a point, and you still haven't defeated my logic.

You can go use your Cheats 'n all, but no help from us at WiiHacks if anything goes wrong or if help is needed.

    Your new point is obsolete.[/I]

I would just block the user from contacting you, if he is that ignorant about it.

+1. We will not support anything with piracy or cheating. You can also feel free to report private messages requesting such assistance and we will deal with it.

If you see a post about piracy, please use the report post button, a moderator will take care of the problem. That's what the report post button is for.

I saw one member jump all over another member for using the term DL, I can see that being mistaken for download, but in that case it meant dual layer.
