WiiFlow working with WD Passport 1.5TB but not WD Elements 2TB

I presume I know the answer to this, but figured I would ask anyway. My softmodded Wii plays games fine on my 1.5TB WD Passport HDD. I recently purchased a 2TB WD Elements and figured I would copy my HDD for a buddy to use with his softmodded Wii since his HDD is relatively small.

It appears as though the 2TB WD Elements is not on the Compatibility list but smaller WD Element HDDs are and report working fine.

I used WBFS to format the Elements HDD and copied the games over. When I launch WiiFlow, it displays the covers. However, when I select a game, no sound plays and Wiiflow just returns to the Wii Menu.

I am guessing it is a compatibility or formatting issue, but not sure if there is a resolution.

I did search the site but given that my USBLoaded and Wiiflow works with one WD HDD and not this Elements 2TB, I didn't really see any question-and-answer that were applicable. If I missed them, I do apologize.

Also, apologies if I posted this in the wrong location. Was headed for the NEWBIE forum but the disclaimer scared me off a bit...

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated - even if it is merely that I need to replace the 2TB with a compatible HDD...

I don't know the answer to your question but if your buddy does not own the games that you are copying as discussing things like that here is against forum rules.

Sorry, should have clarified - he does own the original games also. These are games that we play across the internet with each other. Both of us own all of the original titles (only about 15 games). Just trying to setup larger HDDs for going forward (mostly because I bought a few of the 2TB WD Elements from the Staples sale last week and just didn't have anything better to do with them).
