Question Dance Pad doesn't work with games loaded through USB Loader

I'm trying to make the Dance Pad for Hottest Party to work with games inside USB Loader, but no luck so far.
What I did after some search:

Installed cios 222 with 38, then with 37+38, the game was set to work with 222.

Installed cios 223 with 38, then with 37+38, the game was set to work with 222, then with 223.

All combinations tested and I got nothing.

When I use the disc, the pad works. When I use the USB Loader to start the game, nothing happens. Pad works inside USB Loader though, to navigate through games, switch to Favorites and A/B button do the select/go back actions.
I was wondering if there's something with the game loader, that's why I did those cios installs.
If I unplug the pad, step in some part of it (left direction, let's say), then plug the pad again, the game can read that step and stuck with it until I unplug the pad.

I hope you can give me the way to go.

Sorry my bad english and thanks in advance!

What is that supposed to mean? Are you saying that you installed 222 multiple times? What did you try to launch the game with?

Actually no, 222 was already installed with 38, if I'm not mistaked. Then I went into cios installer and selected 222 with 37+38, then did the same with 223. Before 223, I've tested 222 in USB Loader. After 223 install, I set the game to load with 222 and 223, but no luck at all.

The whole point of having different slots like 222 and 223 is so you can install different versions and bases. You shouldn't have changed that. You need to have 222[38]v4 and 223[38+37]v4 installed. You should change that back, as you are just wasting a slot right now.

Are you sure that the Dance Pad is compatible with the game you are playing? I seem to remember another problem with a version of DDR (that is what you are playing, right?) not working with a Dance Pad because it was only supported by one of the games.

Just imagine someone embarassed. As I didn't actually played any of those games, I didn't realized that the disc game is NOT the same version as in USB Loader. Disc is Hottest Party 1, in USB Loader is Hottest Party 3. I will install the disc game into USB Loader to see if pad still works and I will return with a feedback, even if you are right, to make the thread solved.

    Thank you, Joostin.

Here I am. And you were right, the pad is for Hottest Party 1, only. Thank you again. Now I'll return it to the store and start looking for the pad that works with newest Hottest Party versions.
