When I started installing homebrew, I had to put my Wii backup to a nand using Bootmii. That was in August 8 of last year.
Do I need to backup my Wii again, knowing I downloaded more VC games and have more save data afterwards?

if you want to restore your wii with everything you have done to it if you ever brick your wii then that would be a good idea so you dont have to re do it all again :)
its a good idea to backup your nand every now and then BUT we dont support piracy here please read the rules
ok mate no worries just checking about your vc games, but backing up your nand is like making a system restore point on your pc, i keep my first one safe so i can always go back to a fresh softmod and start all over again, and i make a new one ever month or so.
is your bootmii installed as boot2 or ios?
thats fine then, yeah make a backup every so often so you got a fresh one to fall back on if needed
You might want to consider using this too:
SaveGame Manager GX - WiiBrew
It is good if you are going to restore a NAND backup but want to keep your
save files. I also use it in case I do something stupid like accidentally deleting a save file, or overwriting the wrong one. Not all save files can be copied to/from the SD card through Data Management, so it's a great alternative.
