When I started installing homebrew, I had to put my Wii backup to a nand using Bootmii. That was in August 8 of last year.
Do I need to backup my Wii again, knowing I downloaded more VC games and have more save data afterwards?

if you want to restore your wii with everything you have done to it if you ever brick your wii then that would be a good idea so you dont have to re do it all again :)
its a good idea to backup your nand every now and then BUT we dont support piracy here please read the rules

You might want to consider using this too:
SaveGame Manager GX - WiiBrew
It is good if you are going to restore a NAND backup but want to keep your
save files. I also use it in case I do something stupid like accidentally deleting a save file, or overwriting the wrong one. Not all save files can be copied to/from the SD card through Data Management, so it's a great alternative.
