    Exclamation A New Wii Issue....

I am hoping to get some guidance in this issue I believe to be relatively uncommon, simply because I have searched the web for about a week now and have only found 1 other posting, which went unanswered for 2 years on another forum.

    I have a softmodded Wii on 3.4U
I had been playing my games I had backed up to a USB Hard Drive, and accessing them through WiiFlow.
Well the Pins in the MiniUSB port on my external hard drive got damaged, so I purchased a new enclosure and removed my hard drive, once assembled neither my Wii nor my computer would recognize my existing Hard Drive in the new enclosure, so I used WBFS Manager and formatted and reloaded my games I had saved as ISO’s, it seemed to work until I connected it to my Wii, the Wii finally recognized it, but stated there was no, WBFS Partition and asked to format it, I went ahead and formatted it again using the Wii. Back to my computer to reload the games, now my computer again won’t recognize my hard drive. Okay now I was getting frustrated…but now here is where the new problem occurs.
I had been letting my kids play the wii using discs(which we hadn’t done for a while) I was the last person using the wii and it was operating fine. The next day I decided to try to work on it again, and it boots normal but anytime you select a channel or game the remotes lose sync. Each time the remote loses sync I have to reset the sync log by holding down sync for 15 sec next to the SD card. But each time I select a channel/game such as homebrew, once the app starts I lose sync, I have changed the batteries, I have tried all 4 of my remotes, everything you can think of, I even unplugged my wii for 24 hours. Nothing seems to work.
Well a while ago, I was smart and decided to back up my nand, I thought this would be perfect, I could just restore my nand and all would be okay, however I can’t get to bootmii because I lose my remote sync. Well as one last ditch effort before I spend money on a GC Controller I decided to do something stupid….I used the Wii Format option, hoping it would bring it back to out of the box config…of course I did not, however now my homebrew and hack channels are gone.
I reinstalled homebrew and bootmii, and bought a GC Controller, I cannot get too Bootmii, but apparently because my wii is newer and does not allow bootmii to be installed as boot2 I had to install as an IOS, bootmii states that it is too dangerous to restore the nand (I am guessing because it will have to copy over itself)

So at this point..my wii is worthless, I am really hoping someone has a solution and that solution helps others that have searched for a solution and have come up empty as I have.

Please provide a syscheck (How to post a syscheck: Instructions here) edit: oi, maybe not possible without access to the hbc?..

after posting it here you can try this: Guide: Black Screen App FIX
and have a look here: maybe option 11?..
    Softmod troubleshooting

if nothing goes i would suggest using mauifrog's softmod any wii guide linked below.

    First you gotta Introduce Yourself

did you push the sync button on the wii and the wii remote under the battery cover at the same time?
also does the wii power on Via the wii remote?

Yes I tried holding both sync buttons down at the same time. There are only 3 ways I have found to get a successful sync

    1. Hold down Wii Sync for 15 sec while in standby mode, then at boot, press and release remote sync, and then press and release Wii Sync

    2. Hold down Wii Sync for 15 Sec while in Health and Saftey Screen, then press and release remote sync, and then press and release Wii Sync

    3. Unplug the Wii, then at boot press and release remote sync, and then press and release Wii Sync

All 3 are successful at sync, however as soon as I launch a channel or disc I lose sync and can only be resyn'd using one of the methods listed above

Last the wii will not power on via the remote..I have to use the power button on the Wii itself

Normal syncing you would just push the red sync button on the wii once without holding it and then do the same on the wii and it syncs.. if not Im not sure but it could be a bluetooth module failure...

I agree that should work, I read through some posts that holding it down for 15 sec clears the sync log, that is the only way I have been successful at syncing..is clearing the log first, and then using the standard sync of pressing and releasing each sync button.

I attempted to provide a system check as requested, however anytime I try to launch an app through the homebrew channel (SysCheck, cIOS36Installer, cMIOSInstaller rev3, Wad Manager, or Homebrew Browser) it simply loads a black screen and doesn't do anything. I attempted to redo the softmod since I had previosuly formated as stated earlier, I assumed that I had messed stuff up (which I am sure I did) however my GC controller doesn't seem to control the installation screens for WAD managers and installer...so basically I get to the disclaimer screen and cannot go forward becasue I have to Press A.

Yes, with the GC Controller disconnected all I can do is navigate through the system menu's, I can navigate the Settings and such, as soon as I launch a channel that is when I lose my sync on my wireless remote, and I cannot resync unless I restart the wii.
