Black loads on many games, going to hurt this thing!!

Ok, please help I have been trying to get my games to load for about a month now off and on and just don't have what it takes to figure out what is wrong. First off I soft modded following Dogeggs guide about a year ago and everything was working fine up until a couple of months ago when I upgraded GX and the HBC now many games (20-30) will not load. I have tried everything and read the archives over and over. I updated downdated cIOS IOS BIOS DIOS you get the idea. I tried CFG loader and get the same results. I have tried using 222, 223, 249, 250 etc. Messed with the different loading settings for each game, no luck.

I am going to kill it.

I have a wbfs formatted WD passport 320 and using a SD card now to boot but have another HD that has two partitions that I was using to boot with same results. What happened???

    Here is a sys check:

    sysCheck v2.0.1 by Double_A
    ...runs on IOS58 (rev 6176).

    Region: NTSC-U
    System Menu 4.1U (v449)

Try formatting the whole drive as FAT32. You can follow this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...g-playing.html
Maybe the whole drive is corrupted, out of all those games most of them should work fine with 222.

Should also point out now that you downgraded to rev17 for no reason....249 wont work with fat32 HDD...so go with mrkazador said

and use the 222pack in the guide...what base did you use when you installed rev20

He was using wbfs as posted in his first post, but agree v17 won't work with fat32

Base is 56 for 249. Is it possible some of the games were corrupted somehow and if so how does that happen? Hate to start over since I cleared out my hard drive on my computer.

I still think it's a good idea to keep 249 at rev17. It's true that it won't work with FAT32, but 249 isn't just for USB loading. I have rev17 installed for compatibility with apps, and I use hermes cIOS for all my backup loading since I have never had games not work with it, plus it has FAT32 support. Only a couple have issues with Wanin's, and I only have about 20 games, so I'm not in a position to give stats. It just works perfect for me.

Triiforce/Mighty Channels is the only one I can think of right now. I think just about everything else has been updated to work with rev19+. NeoGamma disc loading works better for me when using rev17, although stopped playing disc backups when I got a HDD. It's good to have IOS38 as the base for 249 as well, and since rev17 only allows 38, you can be sure that's what is installed (I know that part is a very weak argument).

I still think it's a good idea to have it though in case. Cfg USB Loader now supports slots 245 through 250, so it's not like you are sacrificing anything by using rev17 in 249. You can still have rev20+ installed in four other slots for USB loading.
