Frag IOS what does that mean? Plus updating IOS's?

    Just wanna be safe instead of sorry and having a bricked Wii;

I used mauifrog guide Softmod any Wii.

First off I boot up CFG Loader to load a game and one the first screen its says 249 Frag under it. Then I tried to boot a game it come up Frag IOS and exit's.

Secondly I would like to update the main IOS's - 222 223 246 247 248 249 250 etc. Because of some games do work with the ones I have...

    Any help would be grateful!

    Cheers

    Tim

[Frag] is normal, has something to do with FAT32 loading. Post a system check, then we can see what needs updating.

I updated 249 to REV 21 ... Tried updating 222 223 etc to 5.1 but the installation kept failing because of harsh check over it over network.

Looks like you followed mauifrog tutorial. There is no need to update anything, you have all the cios you need at their recommended revision. All games should work fine with the cIOS you have installed. Should have kept 249 at rev17 for compatibility with triiforce/mighty channels. You can always install rev17 on a different slot if you want, like 246.

I got trouble loading Wii Play download WBFS is my other issue. I have sorted all of the other games.

How do you pick what space you want your IOS's to go in to?

Triiforce & Mighty Channels is an app that allows you to run wiiware/virtual console games from an sd or hdd, freeing up memory on your wii. There are some compatibility issues with some games but most work. http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...re-sd-usb.html

Have you tried loading wii play with a different cios? You have 222, 223, 224, 247, 248, 249, and 250 to try out.

Yea I have tried all the different IOS's for Wii Play...

Thanks for the link for the mighty channel I'll go though that when I have some more time! Looks like I can install some simpler games for the kids!

With changing the IOS's I would guess that from 200 upwards I can use any space?

You can use any free space you want from 200 and up. I don't have wii play and searching doesn't bring up much help. Don't know what else you can try, maybe messing with some of the game options in cfg loader.

Reload it through CFG via the original disc.
    CFG v60 222-mload works fine....
