    nand back up questions

    Hey fellow wii hackers. I have a question. What happens if I were to use a the nand back up from my awsome softmodded wii on a regular ole virgin wii?

    You would get an error saying "Dump is for another wii" and then Bootmii won't let you restore if you had bootmii as IOS. It will just fail all the way around.

    New question. Since a hacked wii only recognizes one usb port for a harddrive what would happen if I used a usb to multi usb extension?

    That has been done before. Forgot the name of the device that was used. But yes, it will work.

    The Wii will only recognize one USB HDD, other usb devices get plugged into the other usb port including a usb hub.
