is it possible to factory reset a 4.3e back to 3.4 then soft mod?

I'm sorry if i've missed the posts regarding this, as I have looked around quite a bit. Just generally asking what the best course of action is?

    Many thanks in advance

Why would you? Recommended to be at 4.1 which can be done.

You should just follow the softmod any wii guide. Then you will be on 4.1 and softmodded.

^^ Follow that then you will have all the CIOS you need and be on 4.1. It will overwrite what you already have so no need to worry. Is there a specific reason you want to downgrade?

sounds like you're wii is virgin.
If so, you cannot downgrade before you softmod. Since you're on 4.3, you have to use a game to start the softmod, no way around it.

Yes i have read the soft mod any wii guide, but i'm looking for way I can softmod without paying about 60 for the indiana jones game off ebay haha! so what i'm asking is, if I factory reset (just click that little button in the wii menu) then my menu should be back to 3.4? then is it safe to follow the steps of the soft mod any wii guide, without chance of bricking.

first, there's a rule against bumping within 24hrs.
If you have more info, there's an edit button

you probably can't, but hold reset and turn on the wii, see if priiloader comes up
when you turn on the wii normally, does the drive light flash once? or twice?
    is the hbc still there?
or do you have a forwarder? or a channel that loads homebrew?

You need a game to run the exploit. Some new exploits have come out, probably cheaper to buy.
