    UnHack my Wii

I successfully hacked my Wii ver 4.2u and did not benefit from the hack enough to continue to mod to stay ahead of Nintendo. I cannot find a guide to unhack. I followed some guys advice from utube and basically deleted all my hacking files. I then tried to update to 4.3 through Nintendo. I got an error message and seem to remember that I installed priiloader and chose to disable system updates. I'm wondering if this i my problem and how do I fix it? I have already deleted the HB channel and probably will need to reload it by following the tutorial for hacking, but I hope there is another solution. I also think that I saved a file somewhere that will allow me to virginize my Wii, but I don't know the name of the file/folder or how to use it properly.

    Thanks

Virginizing is both dangerous and pointless. You are treading in dangerous waters, and it seems you can't swim. There is no need to update either, as that is dangerous as well and provides no benefit. 4.1 was the last System Menu to offer any features or bugfixes. Never follow failtube guides. We often have to clean up their mess because people brick (or semi-brick) following lousy and outdated guides. You say there is no benefit, but you are wrong. You had a lot of brick protection (Priiloader and the HBC), but now you are trying to get rid of it.

This is not an insult, I'm just trying to make a point.

OK. I really just want to play Black Ops, but am getting error code 002. I followed a guide to install a fix, but it didn't work. That being said, what guide should I follow to reinstall/update my homebrew channel and fix error code #002?

What guide would that be? The COD Black Ops Guide? All you need to do install install the latest IOS57 if loading the original disc from the disc channel.

If it's a backup disc from the disc channel then you have cIOSCORP installed.

EDIT: You don't need to re-softmod your wii if you don't want. Just follow the black ops guide.

Softmod your Wii with the Softmod ANY Wii guide in my signature (do everything except the DarkCorp install), then follow this Black Ops guide.

I cringed as I read about how you followed a guide on youtube...yes, there are ways to "un-mod" your Wii, but it'll pretty much brick your Wii. It's not a big deal if your intention was to have Nintendo fix a bad disc drive and you wanted to cover any traces of a tampered system. However, if your intention was to set it back to OEM status, that's not gonna happen. The guys here know what they're talking about and the community works together to update one another of issues and solutions. Throughout the forum you'll read over and over, never update through Nintendo unless advised by a Senior Member and never follow youtube guides (as another stated above). Rule of thumb, if a game doesn't work and it's a popular game, more than likely others have encountered the same/similar issue. You'll eventually find a guide/post that walks you through into fixing it. Also, you're not giving the developer's credit when you stated, "I successfully hacked my Wii ver 4.2u and did not benefit from the hack enough to continue to mod to stay ahead of Nintendo." Yes, Nintendo will come out with a new iOS or what not that will be needed to run the game, but that's temporary. I'm not a programmer. I just enjoy pushing my devices to reach it's potential and exceed the manufacturer's limitations. I've learned so much from these guys. Please be careful in the future and have fun modding your Wii.
