Question USB loader gx black screen after Mario Sports Mix

Hello everybody and greetings from Finland!

Yesterday I loaded Super Mario Bros Sports Mix at first time. Game loaded IOS224 (hermes rev 65535) Ok, but then next time only black screen when loading game again. After reset none of my even older games did not work in USB loader gx, when using IOS224. But luckily games work when using IOS249 (waninkoko rev 20).

    I'm usin 4.1e (softmodded)
    USB loader GX ver 2.0

    Here is Syscheck file:

    MIOS v10.

    Found 85 titles.
Found 26 IOS and 9 IOS Stubs on this console.

    Priiloader is installed.

Any ideas anyone? Did Mario Sports Mix somehow corrupt IOS224?

No do not update, have you read anywhere on this forum? It says everywhere do not update!!!!!

Install priiloader and block updates. Don't know what priiloader is, search for it. I believe there is a guide

@21136, if they work with 249 why worry about it. Most people use 249 its like standard

i just went back and followed all the guides in installing softmod (Ijust did enough to get around Super mario bros) and it solved my problems (not yours sorry)
Priiloader stops wifi updates and stops it asking for updates (so I merrily loaded Sports mix)
Priiloader also does other cool stuff like auto pressing the a button at the first screen)
extract from someone m ore techo than me
Once again this fixed my issues. I recommend reinstalling softmod from start to see if it fixes your problrm
goodluck and it is an awesome game. Like all mario, easy to pick up and play and be winning, but must learn all the moves to master the harder levels

    Run sd:\md5summer.exe
    Click "Verify Sums", Select "ModPack-AnyWii.md5"
All check sums should verify without error (
    very important)
Click "Verify Sums" again, Select "UpdatePack.md5"

    Part 1- Wad Installs
Start HBC, press [HOME], Launch Bootmii
    Multi-Mod Manager Starts (via cboot2)
    Select "App Manager" -press A
    Select Priiloader -Press A
    Priiloader 0.4 Installer will load
Read the warning- Hold B Press +/A to install

After priiloader installs, it may give error or freeze- this is ok
Hold reset and boot wii while holding reset- priiloader will load
Select "System Menu Hacks"- Press A
Enable "Block Disk Updates", and "Block Online Updates", others if you like
4.3 wiis, enable "Bannerbomb" others if you like
If MMM loads at boot, select Manage Priiloader, Edit Priiloader Hacks, enable needed hacks.
If you don't know what the hack does- you don't need it.
Your wii should now block Disk updates and online updates.
    Select load/install,

You are probably the first member that I have seen post that uses IOS224 for all games.
