Error 204036 with Download/Install of Netflix Channel from Shop Channel

I have searched all over these forums, as well as google, and I cannot find any answers to this anywhere.

I have: Menu 4.0U, cIOSrev19, updated Shop Channel to v20, IOS56v5662

I've been running Netflix from the disc successfully since it was released in Canada, but received an email stating that the disc will no longer be supported after January 31, so now I'm scrambling to get this sorted out. When I go to download from the Shop Channel, it briefly shows the download screen before throwing me the 204036 error and asking me to try again. I've been unable to find any information on the 204036 error, including from the Nintendo website.

It makes no difference whether I try to download to the Wii or the SD, and I've tried deleting all instances of Netflix (among other channels) with AnyTitle Deleter, to no avail. I've tried downgrading to Shop Channel v19, but that of course won't load, asking me to update.

I've followed Krank's Shop Channel Update Guide, as well as the Netflix for Dummies tut.

I've also tried freshly formatted SDs and no SD.

I seem to have the exact problem that this poster had, but of course formatting my Wii is a very last resort (and not really an option). I would like to get this sorted out, as I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem.

GBATemp says formatting as well. Nintendo says "CALL US 800-XXX-XXXX," not exactly an option.

Exactly. Do you know of any guides or tricks to reformat/reinstall IOSes, homebrew, usbloader, etc. without completely losing everything? (ie. save games)

Well, I got it working. I didn't solve the issue, but I got it working. I was just preparing a fresh NAND backup before attempting a reinstall/reformat when I came across the Netflix Channel WAD online. Of course I won't post the location of this WAD, but it will at least give hope to some people who have PM'd me about the issue. So far, a reformat seems to be the only actual solution (if you can call it that) to this problem.

Well personally speaking, If u don't have anything that is 100% certain to offer, it only adds to more misleading information. But whatever! I too found this wad on a particular torrent site, but since u never replied to my pm i never bothered to pm u again!
