updated ios249 for configurable usb loader

    hello,

i had issues with playing from usb hdd and updated the configurable usb loader.
it said that my IOS249 is too old. then i downloaded the latest IOS249 with
NUS and checked "pack as wad", and installed it wit mmm.
now, the c.usb loader wont start completely and tells me "custoim ios 249 is a stub.
    please remove"....
how can i solve this and install the ios249 (v18 or higher) i need for the latest version
    of cfg usb loader?

    thanks
    plx

you need to delete the stub that's in there now, then head over to the cios as wads thread and install the cios you want with wad manager or similar

    hello,

    no answer
anyway, i figured it out by myself and updated the cios249 so that the latest
cfg usb loader is running fine.
however, this didnt solve my problem (and the problem is a real strange one):
there seems to be some graphical issues with my red eur wii. im using 480p/60hz
(component signal) mode and i experienced problems with 2 games by now:
    - hotd overkill: sprites are "stuttering" (going forward and back again, over and over)
    - mario kart: ive played several minutes and suddenly, in the track selection screen,
the motion pictures unter the track names were gone. after that the game froze.
i found out that hotd overkill is working in 50hz mode but not in 60hz.
cant be an issue with my usb drive as its working fine with another wii (both 50 and 60hz)... any idea what this might be?

    thanks
    plx

do you have the same cios's on both wii's?
try loading the problematic games through a different cios

    i already tried that
and no, im using different IOS on the two wiis as
i updated the cfg usb loader + IOS249 on the red wii (because i gave it a try to solve the problem)
and it had the same IOS like the white one before.
so the problem also existed when both Wiis had the SAME IOS installed.

have you tried the video patch option in cfg and there are other options you can change for each game that may help.. try playing with some of the game options in cfg.

not yet. but do you think that this could help as the problem existed with both wiis having exactly the SAME setup, working on the white on and not working on the red one?
sounds not logical, does it? plus, i can fairly remember that it worked at the beginning, shortly after i copied the game from disc to hdd. and suddendly there where
    those issues
