Question WiiMC DVD's Jumping/out of synch.

Hey guys, I softmodded my Wii, using this guide (just incase its relivent)
    [REMOVED External Guide]

which is all done, I only really did it to play DVD's, so I looked on the Homebrew Brower and downloaded something calle wiimc, when I try and run my DVD's it acts like their scartched up and on their last legs, jumping, freezing, out of synch, bits of the picture missing ETC. If you need this I'm using a PAL, UK Wii that was brought on the release date.

    Thanks all.

WiiMC has problems with DVD's, especially since the developer decided to drop IOS202 support and only use IOS58 (which is so much slower). I still have MPlayerCE on my Wii for watching DVD's. You can't save settings or view the DVD menu, but it at least plays the movie fine.

Everytime you start it up, you have to enable "Show forced subtitles only" (or something like that), but the option doesn't appear until you start playing the movie.

Ok, can someone please point me in the direction of a good fully functional I.E DVD menu support player, or one that doesn't have any stupid bugs like this subtitle thing you've got to change constantly please?

WiiMC is the best media player ATM!!!!

The wii is not meant to play DVD's (go get a DVD PLAYER) lol

If you really want to watch movies or whatev on your tv, convert your dvd's that you have to .avi files and stream them via the SMB share in wiimc

Lol, that's not a bug. That's just how it's set up. You get pretty quick at it eventually.
