he has probably modded it the right way. i dont think he needs any further updating after running maui's guide.

have you turned wiiconnect24/standby mode on - are you shutting the wii down to orange/amber light?
try if it happens as well if you turn off completely, to red light, hold down power till wii turns off.
maybe google if the hdd got some spindown/standby mode due to inactivity.

    <--suggestions helped? press Thanks

every game that i've try on both loaders works flawlessly the first time then I either black screen or get bad glitches the next time i load.
could the loaders be corupting the game files?

You are not the only one having this problem, I've modded 7 or 8 Wii's using a WD My Passport 320gb with no issues, but 2 I've done with WD My Passport 500gb and I've had the same issues as you.

I 'm just in the middle of farmatting one of the 500gb drives into FAT32 from WBFS as this can solve these issues out apparently!!

I don't understand how people are using fat32 I tried and i couldn't hold files that were bigger than 3.99gb

    my smallest game is 4.38gb

but apparently fat32 is the prefered choice?
how do you make it work?

well I tried loader gx again this time I used ios223 and it worked perfectly
then we i tried it again the videos skipped

game was house of the dead: overkill btw

I don't understand why im only getting one shot per ios
    this is lame

well I'm formating my hdd to FAT32 to see if that makes a difference
    I'm very doubtful though.

I wonderful if downgrading my system menu to 4.1 would help
do some apps work better on older menus?

well i formated hdd to fat32
    didn't help

could priiloader be causing any of my problems

    Now that is frustrating!!
I have split one of my 500gb drives into 300gb wbfs and 200gb fat and it seems to be playing games alright, so far I've got 50 or so games on with no issues..........very strange

Right Click one of the iso's in Wii Game Manager and select split in two.

    I have exact same problem.

4.3E (500GB WD Elements SE) USB loadergx and others.

I get to play the game once then thats it! Freezes/blackscreen every time after.

I'm currently at 4.1E and still exact same problem.

I'm about to try partitioning the drive.

    I semi fixed the problem
no more black screen more freezing on opening screens
but still getting game glitches after first load
house of the dead overkill i get glitchy dancing-like mutants, mutants stuck in walls or stuck off screen
007 goldeneye freezes in random parts during gameplay and sometimes on main screen
lego harry potter works 100% so far

    heres what I did
    format hdd to fat32
reloaded games using wii backup manager (enabled full scrubbing mode)
    installed ciosx rev21

    fixed the black screen problem
but still get major glitches and crashes after first load
again the first time the games are ran they work perfect
harry potter is crashing now too during loading
