Rock Band 3 "midi pro" instruments not recognized

Hello all, spent the past 2 days pulling my hair out trying to play Rock Band 3 on my wii. Just bought a "Mad catz midipro wii" usb controller for my e-drum set. anyways i followed all the instructions and calibrated my electronic drums to the midi notes for the Rock Band 3 game, but when I try to play the game it will not "sync" or connect or in any way recognize the controller as a controller, as well as my Rock Band 2 logitech usb microphone. Cant even try to play one song because i cant get past the "you have to have instruments connected" error message.

I'm using Neogamma R8 BETA 15 backup launcher instead of a usb loader, and was hoping you knowledgable folks here could help me out!

I'm using IOS 249 Rev 17. i've seen other threads on this forum where people recommend other versions, but they're all for configurable usb loader and not a disc boot.

lastly if you could provide links to downloads if you're recommending cIOS/ios switches/updates it would really make my day, been haunted and extremely frustrated by this. just want to rock it out on my drums.

    thanks in advance

    you cant use neogamma.

Follow the normal GH/RB guides, you need hermes cios, and you CAN use CFG to boot discs, its not just for USB.

Any update on this? I have the same issue in another thread, although I've used USB Loader GX, Wiiflow, and Gecko OS to no success.
