Hi, I already posted a thread on this, but it was closed down immediately after 2 replies, and I didn't understand.
Anyways, I'm new to modding my Wii and all. I own an original, white, Wii, on firmware 4.3U.
I installed the homebrew channel just yesterday, and I put the USB Loader GX and Coverflow apps onto my SD card and loaded it through, with my USB Flash drive plugged in (I know how to download .iso files and load them onto my flash drive properly).
However, with all the loaders, all I get is a black screen, and a disconnected Wii Remote.
In my previous thread, I was told to softmod it. I thought softmodding it meant installing the Homebrew channel?
It'd be great if you guys could explain - I'm new here and have no clue what you're talking about.
Then I was told to follow some softmodding guide, and if I didn't have a NAND backup, follow chapter 1 as well. What is a NAND backup?
Then, the thread was closed, so I had no idea what it all meant.
It'd be awesome if I could get some real, simple to follow, info + links, so I can fully understand what is going on and what I need to do. I'm not at all familar with these Wii modding terms, as I am new, again.
Please help? Be sure to clarify, so I understand, thanks for your time.
PS: I own an original wii on 4.3u and homebrew channel installed, and I want to be able to load iso's through a USB flash drive onto my Wii and play them.
Not hacked Wii
Fail again. Follow the Softmod 4.3 guide. HBC is not enough as I told you before. Also.... Read the rules. Do not creat another thread asking this!!!!!!!!
