Usb loader GX freezes when loading games

I recently bought HDD from seagate(from compatible list) and was trying to install games from disks to HDD. Usb loader gx loads ok, and I see all the games I have installed from PC. When I insert game disk, loader asks what to do with it (install or mount). When I press install, loader freezes. Same happens when I try to play games(it freezes at the point, where I should see the game disk). I am able to load covers from internet and usb loader is up to date.

    Here is my syscheck:
    sysCheck v2.0.1 by Double_A

Why do you have cIOSX rev20 installed? Here at wiihacks, we recommend cIOS38 rev17, because some disks don't seem to work properly with other revisions. If your disk is FAT32 formatted, then you might need to use cIOSX rev19, but there is no need for rev20. Also, make sure you are using the lastest stable version of USB Loader GX. You can get it by using the Easy installer. Even then, USB Loader GX might not work. If so, try another USB Loader, like Cfg USB Loader or wiiflow.

Thanks, I will try with rev17. I have two partitions, FAT32 and WBFS. I recently updated my ios's, and just installed the latest revs. rev20 was recommended.

I installed the cIOS38 rev17 and games run like a charm
Still I had problem with installing games from disk. Loader asked if I wanted to install (yes) but it didn't do anything. I didn't freeze like before(I could move the controller on the screen).
I will try older rev from usb loader gx (I am running 929c with ios222(rev4)).

    EDIT:
Installed rev 883 usb loader gx, and got disk install to work. Thanks you very much for help!

I am glad you got things working! It is always nice when people leave a post to say that things work again.

Question 4.3e Black Wii unable to install games from USB Loaders

    Hi There,

I have a softmodded 4.3e Black Wii and none of the USB Loaders I have tried will install games. (tried both USB Configurable Loader and USB Loader GX) I can confirm my HDD is compatible as my friend copied a game to it using his Wii.

My harddrive is a 1TB Western Digital Elements drive with two partitions, one is NTFS holding computer files and the other is a 100Gb WBFS partition which I hope to use for the Wii.

The games normally begin to install copying small pieces at a time and normally freeze before or around 10%.

    Please Help!

    My syscheck is:

If your using GX get the latest rev v2.0 as well as the v2.0 forwarder.

USB loader is old and doesn't work for me either just use uloader for wii games
And for gamecube games install the patched MIOS then installed the CMIOS then run backup launcher
(this guide worked for mii but you'll need to find the CMIOS yourself)
