I need to Un-Softmod my Wii to play a game and I don't want the Softmod anymore, so I unstalled The HomeBrew CHannel and BootMii so is it safe to update?

It is less safe to update with hacks removed. You didn't need to remove softmods, you just needed to update your IOS's.

But now updating could brick your Wii. When it was softmodded, an update was less likely to cause a brick. I suggest you resoftmod it and update IOS's, so you won't see the update message again.

Removing softmods to update is one of the stupidest things you can do (no offense intended), but it happens a lot for some reason.

Priiloader (included in almost all guides) will skip the update checks, and updating IOS's will ensure that all games can run without error.

If I don't want the Softmod at all then should I re-softmod then update?

You shouldn't update, period. If your sister is totally against extra features and awesomeness, just install Priiloader, block updates, take her to a neurologist, and update the IOS's. She won't even know it is there and you will still have a fair amount of brick protection.
